A full CGI film for the Velez store at El Tesoro, a space where leather goods and a coffee bar share one room. Not a single frame was photographed.
Closer than a camera could get
Every product was modelled and rendered. Gold hardware in extreme close up. A flap clasp with its stitching readable. A braided handle against a warm store interior. A chain handled bag floating on bokeh. A white textured handbag suspended with its hardware catching light. A silhouette revealed against a warm gradient. The camera gets closer than a product shoot would ever allow, because there is nothing physical to keep it out. No lens, no rig and no set stands between the frame and the leather. Every material in the film, leather, brass and ceramic, was built rather than borrowed from a photograph.
The film opened the store first
The store is the launch, so the film builds the store. A handbag on a coffee table, croissants beside it, a silver tray with a cup. Retail and cafe in one continuous space, months before anyone could walk into it.
