Back to school is the noisiest season in retail. Totto ran two campaigns at once, one for kids and one for universities, and Nea Studio took both.
Two audiences, one pipeline
Concept, motion graphics, VFX and production moved through a single pipeline, so nothing was lost between what was designed and what reached the screen. La Vuelta al Cole speaks to kids and tweens: a boy in a field with a CGI blue T-Rex and an erupting volcano, a girl with a unicorn backpack beside a 3D plush, a pink castle and an inflatable rainbow, two tweens on a painted basketball court with a 3D robot. Regreso a Clases speaks to universities, in neon green lettering over a student drawing on a tablet, and teenagers on campus stairs with 3D props floating around them.
Live action carries the cast
CGI carries the world around them. Inflatable balloon letters spell Totto across brick paving, shot from the air. Oversized cartoon flowers frame travellers with suitcases. Two audiences, one production, no compromise between them.
